Sixers number one draft pick, Ben Simmons message to campers

My son and I had a great experience with the 76ers Camp this past summer. I have to admit I was concerned about how safe it would be to send my son to camp given the current COVID climate. However, after attending the 76ers Camps Information Session, it was clear they had given great consideration to ensuring everyone’s safety while under their care.

I felt very comfortable with the plan they had implemented, and so did my son. He was very excited to go to camp each day to be with his coaches, learn new skills, play games, and meet new friends. Upon pick-up each afternoon, he couldn’t wait to recap his day for me on the drive back home. I was so grateful he had an opportunity to have fun being a kid. We look forward to participating in the 76ers camp next year.

Camper: 2020

For eight or so summers, I had the best times imaginable. The array of campers, counselors, and staff make for such an eclectic environment which is what makes Sixers Camp so unique—especially with the amount of international kids that attended each summer. The camp allows not only for a great platform to garner basketball skills, but a great way to develop relationships.
