- What do all campers receive as part of camp attendance?
All campers receive:
- Jr. 76ers Camps Icon Uniform (jersey and shorts)

- Can my child be assigned to the same room as his/her friend?
We will do our best to accommodate all roommate requests. Rooms are suite style; each suite has two rooms with two players in each room. If you have a roommate request, please enter the player’s first and last name on your registration form.
- What medical personnel is there while my child is at camp?
Jr. 76ers Academy will have a certified nurse and athletic training staff on site to distribute medication and to attend to any physical injuries.

- Is the camp very competitive?
The goal is to make camp a competitive and fun experience for players of all skill levels. Players are assigned to leagues based on age but have the ability to move to different age groups based on skill level. Everyone starts one game a day and every player must play at least half the game.
- What additional activities are available at the camp facility?
Jr. 76ers Academy participants will be able to engage in a variety of activities while at camp. Activities may include:
- Trip to 76ers Training Complex (subject to NBA Health & Safety protocols)
- Sand Volleyball
- Ultimate Frisbee
- Nightly basketball competitions (1v1, 3v3 Tournament, etc.)
- What is the menu like?
Neumann University provides a varied catering menu for all Jr. 76ers Academy meals.
Typical menus include:
Breakfast: signature dish, cereal bar, toasting station, etc.
Lunch & Dinner: signature dish, sandwich station, salad bar, burgers/fries, etc.
Snack: The Sixers Snack Shop is open nightly at 9PM in O’Neill Hall. The menu includes pizza, snacks, drinks, and candy. The Sixers Snack Shop will accept Cash App on-site (we cannot accept cash).
- Where do the kids sleep at camp?
Rooms are suite style with two bedrooms that will accommodate two players in each room. Each suite has a shower, bathroom, sink, and two bedrooms with two beds in each room. Residence Halls include common lounge areas and 24-hour security. View a video of our dorms here.
- Will I receive a confirmation?
Yes, upon registering you will receive an email confirmation. A week to a few days prior to the start of your camp week, you will also receive a Welcome Email with additional instructions including what to pack, what to bring, etc.
- Does my child need extra money at camp?
Snacks are available for purchase each night in the residence hall. The Sixers Snack Shop will accept Cash App on-site (we cannot accept cash). The amount of money needed varies per your player’s personal preferences, but in general, $25-$50 is a good amount. Please do not send your player to camp with cash.
- What is the procedure if my child flies to camp?
The camp does not provide airport transportation. The nearest Airport to our camp is Philadelphia International Airport (13 miles from Neumann University). If you are planning on flying to camp, you will need to make arrangements to get from the airport to/from camp (Phila/NY/DC).
Uber and Lyft are popular options for transport to and from camp. If you have any additional questions on transportation, please call our camp office at 610-668-7676.
- Are there local hotel accommodations if I am planning on staying in the area?
Yes, the Residence Inn Philadelphia Glen Mills/Concordville offers a discounted rate for families staying in the Neumann University area. To access your special rate, please visit the Marriott Website.
- May I visit the camp during the week?
We do not permit visitors to camp during the week.
- Is there bus transportation?
No, but campers can take a bus to the Philadelphia bus terminal and then take a taxi/Uber/Lyft to the camp.
Camp is approximately 30 minutes from the bus station.
- What is the phone policy?
Players may bring their cell phone, but it should remain in their room during the camp day.
- May I change my week?
You are welcome to change your week(s) at any time as long as space is available in the session of your choice. You cannot do this online - just call our office when a change of week is needed at 610-668-7676.
- May I change my uniform size?
Uniform changes can be made on-site. Players requesting a uniform change should ask their coach or residential counselor, who will assist in getting the properly fitted uniform for your player.
- Where is the staff from?
Our experienced coaching staff includes a diverse group of high school coaches, college coaches and professional players. Our residential staff includes experienced counselors and college residential advisors.
- May I have a referral of someone who has attended camp previously?

- When are my Medical Forms due?
Medical forms are due 30 days prior to camp and must be signed by a physician. All forms must be on file in our office to participate in the program.

- Who are the Guest Speakers?
Guest speakers may include former 76er players, but appearances are not guaranteed. Current 76ers players will not attend camp. Visitors will be dependent on Health & Safety restrictions and are subject to change.

- Is there time to do other things at camp?
While most of the program will include basketball related activities, there is an opportunity each day to enjoy recreational activities and experiences provided by our residential life staff.
- My child would like to be in the same teaching group as his/her friend?
If ages are similar, we will try to group your child on the same team as his/her friend. We aim to keep the teams balanced and competitive during this camp.
- What if my child has to take medication while at camp?
Our camp nurse will administer medication as prescribed. Please visit the nurse during check-in if your child needs medication at camp.
- Do you have a Code of Conduct Policy?
Yes. Jr. 76ers Academy will not tolerate chronically disruptive behavior. Chronically disruptive behavior is defined as verbal or physical activity which may include, but is not limited to, behavior that requires constant attention from the staff, inflicts physical or emotional harm on other players or the staff, or ongoing disregard for Jr. 76ers Academy rules.
If a child cannot abide by our Jr. 76ers Academy rules, he or she may be discharged from the program. Upon notification of this behavior, the player will be dismissed from the remainder of the camp immediately. If a player has been dismissed from camp, the paid tuition amount will be non-refundable and re-enrollment will not be allowed in the future.
- What should my child pack for camp?

- Are facilities air conditioned?
Yes, the indoor facilities are air-conditioned.
